Originally rumored that Apple would market a device called the iPhone 4S, which would be a device refresh of sorts, with some updates to the current iPhone 4. It appears that Apple may instead release a major device update.
Apple may hold an event in the beginning or middle of August to announce the new iPhone, with av
ailability to follow in the last week of August. Thisismynext reported earlier that the upcoming iPhone 5 would feature a new teardrop-shaped case design.
It has also been noted that Apple suppliers have cut production, suggesting that Apple’s highly anticipated next-generation iPhone is imminent.
If you are an Apple fan and are in the market for a new phone, you may want to wait to see if things become clearer as far as possible device availability before making that move.
It should be an interesting summer.

Bloomberg reports that the release for the upcoming Apple iPhone will be September, not August as rumored on Tuesday.
According to a Bloomberg report “Apple plans to introduce a new iPhone in September that boasts a stronger chip for processing data and a more advanced camera, according to two people familiar with the product.”
